Liz Connelly enjoyed presenting with a panel of colleagues at one of Shore Leadership’s sessions discussing the power of public/private partnerships and grant and loan sourcing and award processes. Members included Kelly Simonsen with Easton Utilities, Sam Shoge with Rivers and Roads, and Scott Warner with Mid-Shore Regional Council. All brought great insights to economic development and how teaming opens doors to both public and private funding sources. Special thanks to Deena Kilmon who did a great job moderating and leading the Q&A session.
Insights focused on establishing relationships with funding sourcing contacts, discussion on American Rescue Plan funding and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act at the state and local levels. Our RAUCH inc. grants team is available to source funding for client needs. We are currently administering over 20 grant/loan programs serving both municipal and private needs, as well as fostering public/private collaborations.
