Project Description

Project Inspection services per USDA requirements for the renovation and expansion of this intergenerational center building. Serve as Owner’s Representative interacting with project contractors and subcontractors. Review schedules, lead conferences and meetings, insure safety compliance, review of shop drawings and samples. Offer suggestions and modifications to drawings or specifications as required. Review of all work and provision of recommendations for defective work to be corrected, removed and/or replaced. RAUCH inc. field inspection personnel are responsible for ensuring all inspections, tests and system start-ups are accomplished as well as maintaining all records for the project, including but not limited to: contract documents, change orders, field orders, RFls, progress reports, submittals and recommendations for payment applications. RAUCH inc. field inspectors document progress with photos to coordinate with work-in-progress and conditions’ reports. Project close-out in 2021 will include certifications and O&M manual preparation. RAUCH inc. will provide determination of substantial completion and assistance with walk-th roughs and punch list preparation. Onsite inspectors will oversee final punch list preparation and completion. Inspector services are provided 5 days/week for 8 hrs/day during a sixteen month construction period.
