Dustin Rauch is a 2008 graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering. Dustin has been with RAUCH inc. (formerly Robert D. Rauch & Associates) for eighteen years and was appointed Vice President and Treasurer for the firm in 2021. Beyond civil engineering and project management experience, Dustin often represents the firm before town governments and their agencies as he is well versed in identifying unique site conditions needing to be addressed in plan submittals to County and State agencies. Dustin’s areas of expertise include site design, stormwater management, sediment control, utility design, hydrology, 3D modeling and graphics rendering.
Dustin is the Lead Developer for Smart Site Plan, an online management suite currently being used for every RAUCH inc. project and by many municipalities in the region. Smart Site Plan facilitates informed decision making in relation to global infrastructure awareness. It provides access to the most comprehensive inventory of Geographic Open Datasets, available throughout the world, and maintains a robust cloud-based platform to visualize, manipulate, collaborate, and better understand land and utility assets. In addition, Dustin oversees the drone team, providing guidance and monitoring of quantity measurement contracts for asphalt plants and other commercial clients.
Dustin serves as the Lead Engineer on all civil design and planning for the Heritage Shores Mixed Use Residential golf course community, an ongoing phased development project.
