James Harrison
Manager, MEP Department
James provides in-house expertise in Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing sectors (MEP) and leads a team of MEP Drafters and Technicians, designing for commercial, industrial, agricultural, renewable energy, and water treatment facilities. James’ background is in new product and system design as well as product and process launches. He is skilled in plant layout, tool, gauge and fixture design, and root cause analysis and verification, including implementing corrective actions. He has experience with plant maintenance, machine control systems and components. James has served as both a Quality Engineer and Internal Auditor and has prepared detailed work flow analyses.
James’ background includes previous engineering experience developing new products and designing new automated manufacturing lines for filtration product lines. He served as an engineering manager utilizing 3D design software to develop specialized filtration systems and implemented new quality control and work flow measures to increase efficiency
James has worked on large scale projects aiding companies in process development, P&ID creation and power generation design for critical loads. James will act as design engineer for the MEP systems associated with the power generation schematic design and project coordination for the AquaCon project.
James has also secured funding from the MDE EWIP (Energy Water Infrastructure Program) for the Town of Federalsburg solar grid installation to power the town’s wastewater treatment plant. He provided single line electrical diagrams for the project for the solar arrays to the transformer to the grid. In coordination with the RAUCH civil site and survey teams, he provided the layout configuration for the panels in the field. James calculated the KW production figures and secured solar renewable energy credits. In additon, James and his team provided the AC electrical infrastructure design for all transformers, panels and meters. He provided calculation for all cost savings for the project.
James and his team provide complete industrial and commercial building energy auditing serives to obtain grant, and other funding for building system energy upgrades.
